Cookin’ It Up

This is a tool that, somehow, always made the food taste even more delicious. Of course, it’s not exactly something that you’d see in a kitchen today. New appliances have quickly replaced the days of yore when we used to use gadgets like this one. Even the color of it screams old-fashioned! It also weighed my entire body weight, which was definitely the norm among kitchen appliances.

It was always a treat when we went to our grandmother’s house to find that she’d made some food with a machine like this one. You just had to be careful not to touch the black parts on the outside, as they’d get hot pretty quickly. Waiting for the food to be done felt like agony – Aren’t you glad we now have food delivery services? Amen to that!
