Crazy Cap Gun

Now, this is a toy you don’t see all that often anymore! Cap guns were all the rage in the 90s, as they were a fun and safe version of a toy gun. At the time, most kids considered them quite high-tech, although looking back, they seemed like a pretty low-budget toy – With all the sensitive talk around guns, I doubt these will ever make a comeback.

Just by feeding the tape through the ‘barrel’ of the gun and pulling the trigger, you could simulate a gunshot. Some toys even had smoke coming out of them for that extra effect! Plenty of stores still sell these, although they’re much better than the ones that we can remember. Do you think letting children play with fake guns is irresponsible or not a big deal?
