31. We Will See Other Again One Day, When Spring Comes
Winter has come. Couples must part and embrace the blankets. Though really, maybe they would feel warmer if they stayed together. The great winter blanket hibernation begins, and as the temperatures drop, the blankets rise in rank. They become less of an accessory and more of a necessity, a vital companion through the long, cold nights.

The bed becomes a battleground, each person vying for their share of the covers, until eventually, they cocoon themselves into separate blanket burritos. There’s love, and then there’s love in the time of winter—where the heart grows fonder, but the feet grow colder.
