20. We Need to Hire a Babysitter

Is winter break over yet? God, I hope so, it was nice to spend time with my kids for a day but I think I’m ready for a break now. Gotta hand it to the teachers, it’s kind of incredible they can put up with a whole classroom of these gremlins.

Just like that, teachers rise in the ranks of status because they handle the youthful exuberance of not just one but twenty-plus energizer bunnies. Kudos to the educators who keep the chaos at bay, one winter break at a time. And to the parents, too, bravely facing the holiday season with a mix of courage and a secret stash of chocolate.
