Credit Card Conundrum

I am so glad to know that I am not the only person who gets super irritated at this. Does this drive you guys crazy too? We’re talking, of course, about credit card machines that go from zero to 60 real quick.

If you’ve been fortunate enough not to encounter one of these, let me explain it to you: you insert your card and you wait while your transaction is completed, while the machine tells you not to remove your card. Then, the second the transaction is completed, the machine starts making this horrible blaring beep as though it’s about to self-destruct. Give me a minute to take my card out before you start yelling at me for not taking my card out, OK?
