British Behavior

To be honest, I’m not sure where this idea comes from that all British people are incredibly upright and proper and talk like Mary Poppins or a silly character from a 1970s British sitcom.

The British people that I know personally are some of the most outspoken people that I have ever met, and the Brits that I have seen on various pieces of media are often incredibly foul-mouthed. I guess old stereotypes that linger from the Victorian era are hard to get rid of.
