Kids Do the Darnedest Things

Sometimes I wish I could go back and tell my younger self that sometimes adults let kids get away with stuff because they don’t want to hurt their feelings, and I should take advantage of it and use it to get cool stuff. For example, I know someone who went around her neighborhood as a kid selling rocks, and people actually bought them because they didn’t want to hurt her feelings.

Or there’s this girl, who wasn’t giving anyone change when they bought lemonade, and apparently, no one had the heart to bring it up to her. That is a really impressive payday for a small child. What a little entrepreneur. Her father must be proud.
