Aren’t We All?
Personally, I kind of love this next one. There’s something kind of sweet and wholesome about being described as a former child. Like maybe it’s implying that he’s still has a youthful outlook on life? Or a childlike sense of wonder about the world around him?

What’s funny is that this guy was actually a Marine and part of special operations, meaning that, unlike most of us, he had actually done a lot of interesting stuff and accomplished things in his life. So I’m not sure why they decided to go with the “former child” appellation, of all things.
