If you think that you hate country music, can I encourage you to give it another chance? After all, country music is a broad term that includes a lot of different types of music spanning 100 years. There’s a good chance that somewhere in there, you would find something that you liked.

For instance, is there anyone in this world who has listened to the John Denver classic “Take Me Home, Country Roads”—I mean, really sat down and given that song your full attention, maybe while driving on a country road—and not found themselves loving it? I find it hard to believe.
