Sleeping Like a Baby
Isn’t it funny how when you were a kid, you could sleep anywhere, in any position, and through any racket? I used to be able to sleep sprawled out like a starfish, with my sister in the same bed breathing loudly and kicking me in the ribs, with someone mowing the lawn outside my window, and I’d be fine.

These days I have to be in just the right spot in my bed with just the right configuration of pillows behind my head and just the right amount of light in the room, and if there is any noise other than my air conditioner, I will be up all night. I miss being young and free and flexible.
