Confusing Claus
The whole Santa Claus thing is beyond weird, if you think about it. Adults are so committed to maintaining this fiction that a mysterious man in a red suit slides down the chimney to give presents to children every year that they lie to their kids, take their kids to visit fake Santa impersonators at the mall, and leave out cookies on Christmas Eve and then eat the cookies themselves.

But the weirdness gets turned up to 11 when you’re in a Christmas movie where Santa is real. The implications of such a thing are vast and complicated, but this is one of the weirdest ones: if Santa were real, then he would be giving children presents every year, so the idea of there being adults who don’t believe in him is absolutely nonsensical.
