Fruit Salad

There are certain tropes and cliches that seem to show up again and again in TV shows and movies. There are the enemies-to-lovers romantic trope, where people hate each other at first but then fall in love by the end. There’s the hard-working cop who gets gunned down three days before his retirement.

And now, here’s a new one to think about! I have never noticed it before, but she’s really got a point: when you have two guys in a show, frequently one is tall and skinny, and one is short and squat. Well, Donald Glover isn’t squat. But he’s not as skinny as Danny Pudi.
